Toy box on wheels9/9/2023 ![]() ![]() I started by making the sides of the crate. I bought 1 – 1″x8″圆′ board, 4 – 1″x4″圆′ boards, 4 – 2″ casters, 8 corner straps, and 2 – 3 1/2″ storage chest handles. The crate itself was really easy to make. He still didn’t get it, so I took a leap of faith and hoped that he’d like it when it was all done. When I told him my idea, he was excited about the new toy box, but said “what do stars have to do with a sports room?” I tried to explain how stars work in an all-star room. I thought it would be perfect to make him a toy box with an industrial look but also tie it in with the sports look he wanted in his room. My oldest son had been needing a new toy box for a while and when I saw the Polka Star Stencil on the Royal Design website, I knew exactly what I would make! He’s really into sports and his room takes after that. First, let me start by saying that I am so fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to work with Royal Design Studio Stencils and share my thoughts on their beautiful and fun stencils! Or why not use the space under the bed? That way, the toys are close at hand and your kid can easily pull them out or put them away at any time.Hey everyone! Today I’m going to share with you my latest tutorial. For example, by placing it in a larger wardrobe. If you don’t want the toy storage to be prominent, you can always hide it instead. Why not opt for boxes in orange, pink, or turquoise? However, if the frame is to be added to a colorful disco room, you’ll want the prop to play the part. If you want the storage to play well with a calm interior, we recommend you go for cool colors like white or gray. Do you want a horizontal or vertical frame? Over a single row or several rows? With boxes high or low, in bright or mellow colors? Whatever style you just imagined, we’re certain you can find it in our range. And there are lots of combinations to be made, depending on what you're looking for. Many of our toy storage units consist of wooden framed squares with lightweight plastic boxes made to fit. When you’ve gathered a neat collection of toys not used anymore, you can pass them on to someone who’ll enjoy them.Ĭonstantly doing these three things will help you manage and maximise your kids toy storage. They won’t be played with either, so no use in keeping them in the house. Lastly, continuously check for toys that your kids might have outgrown. You probably can’t ask them, as they likely won’t want to give anything up. Next, try to keep an eye out for toys that your kids never play with anymore. Make sure to get rid of the broken ones, as they won’t be played with and might even be dangerous. Schedule regular managing sessions where you check each toy. What you need to do is go through the toys from time to time. That’s why it’s so important to manage the storage, or things will soon get out of hand. Keeping all of that organized can be tricky. ![]() And if you have more than one child, chances are your family has more toys than all other furniture and interior decorations combined. Toys multiply much quicker than you’d think, via birthdays, Christmases, and hand me downs, to name a few. So do your kids (but mostly yourself) a favor and get proper toy storage for all rooms in dire need of toy stashing. And with fun, nice looking toy storage, it increases the chances of it actually getting done. Having a specific place to put everything when playtime is over makes tidying up so much easier. Stepping on building blocks or tiny plastic toys is a painful horror of the past! With well-planned toy storage you never have to endure such ghastly pains ever again. ![]()
